body construction

The ATE freon evaporator has a completely solid body, hygienic and completely compliant with the HACCP food production standard.

The body is made of pre-galvanized iron sheet with electrostatic powder paint.

The two sides of the evaporator can be easily opened for easy access to the refrigerant dispenser and defrost elements, making it easy to service.

In the upper part of the evaporator, two studs have been installed according to the weight of the device to connect to the ceiling.

Under the evaporator, there is a tray and a pipe connection, which during defrosting removes the water caused by the absorption of ambient moisture from the evaporator with a suitable slope.

Freon evaporator coil

Freon evaporator coil is made of copper tubes and aluminum fins with sinusoidal wave patterns.

The variation of the fin distance from 4 to 12 mm allows the use of the evaporator in halls with different temperatures and humidity.

The distance between the fins and the tubes has been minimized by the mechanical expand method and has increased the heat transfer coefficient in these coils to a significant extent.

ATE Freon evaporator is compatible with R507, R502, R134-A, R404-A and R22 refrigerants.

Evaporators are tested with nitrogen gas up to 450 psi pressure.

Freon evaporator fan

Aeration in the evaporators is done with the use of axial-type reverse-cycle electrofans of the Zillabag or EBM German brands with the lowest possible noise.

The protection class of fan evaporators is IP54 and they have a one-year warranty. The diameter of the fans is chosen from 30 to 71 cm according to the capacity of each evaporator.

Also, the electrical specifications of the fans are 380v/50Hz or 220v/50Hz, which are installed in the distribution box installed on the body of the evaporator.

Freon evaporator defrost

The defrost system of the Freon evaporator is an electrical type (Electrical Defrost).

By placing the branch elements in the evaporator coil and tray in alternating time intervals by the operator or timer.

It is turned on and the ice melts from the coil so that it leaves the path of the evaporator tray. These elements are made of stainless steel

They are closed in the distribution box built on the body of the evaporator.

How to choose a Freon evaporator

To choose the evaporator, you should use the following relationship and tables.

QN = QD × CC × CR

QN = nominal capacity of the evaporator

QD = required cooling capacity

CC = capacitance correction factor

CR = Refrigerant correction factor

Δθ = difference between evaporation temperature and hall temperature

Selection of Freon evaporator fin spacing
For pre-cooling halls and storage above zero (from +5 to -5 degrees Celsius), the fin distance of 6 mm is suitable.
8 mm fin distance is suitable for sub-zero storage halls (from -6 to -30 degrees Celsius).
For freezing tunnels (from -31 to -40 degrees Celsius), the combined fin distance is 10-12 mm.
